U 13 Cricket - Richmond runners up

Under 13  division 1 final was held  at Mercantile Cricket Ground Colombo on 21st January between Richmond College & Royal College Panadura. Richmond winning the toss scored 106 all out.Royal made 107 for 9 to clinch the title. Royal was once 77 /3 Richmond fought back really well making it a nail biting finish at the end.

Meanwhile College u13 B team qualified for the quarter final of division 3 tournament beating Wellawaya Central by  96 runs. Richmond College 209 all out and wellawaya Central College was restricted to 113

Yasoda - Dananjaya To Under 19 Sri Lanka Cricket Squad

Under 19 Sri Lanka Cricket Squad

Yashoda Lanka & Dananjaya De Silva, two Richmond first XI players have been selected to the National squad which will play against the touring English under 19 team.
This is the first time in history of Richmond cricket that two players have been selected to the same National squad. A new addition to the  series of National level achievements during 2010 and an encouraging and a promising start to 2011 .
First 4 day match will start on 14th Friday at Galle International cricket Stadium.
